The Dining “KOKOKARA” provides meals to volunteers and staff involved in various health programs at Tokyo Ryoin. In addition, we distribute recipes supervised by nutritionists to help enjoy the naturally grown delicious vegetables, and serve as a place to study for the MOA Food Education volunteers.
Strength
The natural farming produce served at the Dining “Kokokara” are full of energy which encompasses the farmers’ sincerity and aspiration to “make people happy and healthy.”
The nutritionists pays attention to the season and chooses produce that contributes to health, and chefs prepares dishes that make use of those fresh produces. The people involved in the process of the creation of each dish hope for people to become healthy and happy through their food, and they want that circle of happiness to expand.
The cycle of sincerity starts from the natural blessings from the soil, and progresses to the producer of the crops, those who chose them, those who delivered them, and those who prepared the food. The users of the dining never forgets to express gratitude for this whole process as they receive delicious food full of vital energy.
The name “Kokokara” embodies the aspiration and energy for everyone to enjoy food and create healthy people, healthy family, and healthycommunities, starting from the Dining “KOKOKARA.” This place is the source of vitality for all volunteers and staff at Tokyo Ryoin.
